The Planning and Zoning Commission meets the third Tuesday of every month at 8:30 a.m. at Amite City Hall, 212 E Oak Street in Amite.

Commission members are Mark Campo, Chic Core, Irma Kelly, Wash Edwards and Mary Lou Lee. Meetings are Chaired by Carol Brooke.

The zoning ordinances are rules that define how property in the Town of Amite City can be used. Zoning ordinances detail whether specific geographic zones are acceptable for residential or commercial purposes.
